Bethany Arnold, MSPH, CHES, is a Family Planning and Reproductive Health Technical Advisor with USAID’s Office of Population and Reproductive Health. Bethany is a recognized technical implementation expert in the FP/RH field, with a focus on postabortion care and postpartum family planning, social and behavior change, and adolescent, and youth health. She specializes in community-driven and participatory public health interventions, often with a focus on francophone West Africa. Bethany is a skilled facilitator, workshop designer, curriculum developer, and health educator. Within USAID, she works with Missions and projects to support their implementation of the High-Impact Practices (HIPs) for family planning and provides technical leadership to several FP/RH focused projects. Bethany has worked extensively on postpartum and postabortion family planning, adolescent and youth health, new method introduction and expansion, male engagement, and more. She is experienced in qualitative research methods and data collection, formative research, data analysis, and consensus building around research findings.
